Lovely friends, family and maybe (hopefully?) a few strangers.. Welcome. This is my attempt to marry my love of writing with my love of social media and blog our journey as we plan, pack, progress and panic over our move from Christchurch to Feilding.
I imagine as we go on, this blog will interspersed with my day to day focuses as well as a few of my favourite things. As a mother of two, this means my kids will feature quite prominently and I make no apologies for this because they’re hilarious and awesome and corner the mummy market of readers (ha!). Also feat. The Hubs – he’s a lawyer but he also makes gin so we forgive him for the former. Also watch this space for what I’m wearing, what I’m preserving, what I’m growing and what the Duchess of Cambridge is doing 👑
It’s 2am and I’m sitting here waiting for Master George (6.5 months) to go back to sleep so for the sake of my eyeballs at this time I will leave my first post at that but as a nod to the title of this post and to the theme of our journey I will leave you with one of my favourite quotes, to be elaborated on next time.
Cat: “Where are you going?”
Alice: “Which way should I go?”
Cat: “That depends on where you are going”
Alice: “I don’t know”
Cat: “Then it doesn’t matter which way you go”
Ta ra for now
